Credit Controller

Job Introduction

You will be working with our Credit Control Supervisor & Senior Credit Controller to maximise cash collections through the effective application of the Company’s credit policy & provide day to day support for credit controllers including the escalation of problematic accounts to appropriate level.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively deal with both due and overdue debt ensuring queries are resolved effectively
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers in addition to other agencies
  • Be accountable for and take ownership of your allocated ledger
  • Improving percentage of debts paid to terms
  • Effective reduction of aged debt
  • Escalation of accounts in line with agreed collection paths
  • Preparation of reports 
  • Participate in monthly debt conference calls with internal stakeholders
  • Processing credit card payments as and when required


What We’re Looking For

  • Credit control experience
  • Phone based Customer service experience 
  • Pro-active and tenacious approach to work
  • Resilient attitude towards challenging scenarios
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Understanding of various types of insolvency
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT Literate – Microsoft Office, particularly use of Excel
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
