Finance Analyst

Job Introduction

The role of Finance Assistant is key to our Finance operation. Reporting in to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with both the Finance Business Partner and Finance Manager to deliver robust and value-added accurate reporting. This role will support all the operational and commercial functions of the business


Key Responsibilities 

  • Produce and distribute regular (monthly, weekly) accurate and efficient reporting
  • Provide support to Finance Business Partner and Finance Manager as required, ensuring effective maintenance of internal processes
  • Handle ad hoc queries and ensure report requests are answered on time and accurately
  • Understanding and using the existing reporting suite to provide detailed report information. Using initiative to feedback on where existing reports could be improved, proactively seeking improvement.
  • Assist in the compilation of data to support the annual budget process
  • Where required, assist the team in the production of the monthly management accounts, ensuring that they are produced to the standards required and within timetables suitable for both Division and Group purposes.
  • Ensure appropriate department procedures are maintained, updated and documented.


What We’re Looking For 

  • Qualified AAT / Bachelor's in a relevant field
  • Demonstrate advanced skill with the full range of Office programmes, particularly with Excel
  • Previous experience of working with large datasets - Desirable
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage competing and changing deadlines
  • Comfortable with challenge and ability to priorities ad hoc work
  • Excellent attention to detail
