Job Introduction
This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognised brand and work as part of the asset team where you will facilitate and supervise the asset management process.
Reporting to the Asset Supervisor, you will assist with all aspects of the company stock check process (year-end & perpetual).
You will supervise all Asset administrators within the asset administration team when the Asset Supervisor is not in the Business
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely issue of plant numbers to branches upon request working with the Asset Supervisor
- Maintain the asset register, ensuring all items are in the correct groups
- Ensure that resource is available to cover all asset tasks when the Asset Supervisor is not in the Business
- Ensure all authorisations are gained in line with current authorisation levels when working on asset tasks and loss charging
- Support the Asset Supervisor on the disposals process
- Ensure all chargeable disposals are invoiced at the correct charge rates, supporting the Asset Administrators and training on the Loss/ Damages Process
- Ensure all customers with specific loss matrix are charged at agreed rates
- Ensure company database standards are maintained
- Analyse, interpret and amend data
- Ensure all tasks given by the Asset Supervisor are kept up to date and processed within the timescales given
- Support the Asset Supervisor with the Asset Inbox
- Support the Asset Supervisor when business critical processes are needed to be controlled and processed
- To keep the Asset Supervisor updated of tasks completed and on going
- To Ensure Notes are kept up to date for Handovers to the Asset Supervisor from the team/own work when the Asset Supervisor Returns to the Business
- To ensure that the Loss charging Database sheets are up to date and teams communicated promptly with changes.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of tool hire industry an advantage
- IT to at least Intermediate Excel/Word Level
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
