Job Introduction
ESS (Equipment, Safety, and Services) is a leading specialist company in the UK, providing safety, survey, communications, and test & measurement equipment. As our Technical Support Manager you’ll support our customers and staff on product support and awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Closely work with the ESS Workshops on internal product management to standardise the working processes in all depots and workshops in relation to key equipment
- Work with depots, workshops and relevant personnel to ensure quality of equipment, delivery of required products and services and standards of support.
- Virtual and Site Visits, exhibition attendance for support & demonstrations
- Work closely with Marketing & Sales Teams to promote products and develop market & sector opportunities.
- Increase revenues where possible from all streams – Sales, Hire, Service, Repair, Training, Installations etc.
- Develop a portfolio of training courses for both internal staff and external customers with a view to increasing revenue and skills bases
- Maintenance of G42 service schedule system
What We’re Looking For
- Train the Trainer qualification or equivalent
- Relevant industry and product knowledge
- Experience within Engineering / Construction
- Clean driving licence
- Management and/or Sales experience desirable
- Manufacturer training desirable
- G42 experience
- Toominder experience
