You'll spend 16 weeks in total at College in England or Scotland in up to 4-week block release sessions, with travel and accommodation expenses covered.
Year 2: Continuing to work with an experienced Field Service Engineer you will expand your skills by diagnosing faults and performing repairs and maintenance on plant machinery. You’ll spend time at one of our workshops conducting heavier repairs, becoming familiar with large component overhaul. Another 10-week stint at college awaits in Year 2.
Year 3: You’ll now be ready to start working on your own using your own service vehicle and become familiar with attending customer sites by yourself to conduct servicing and basic to intermediate repairs. Attendance at in-house training courses will provide you with electro-mechanical and hydraulic diagnostics skills on heavy plant. Again, you'll spend 10-weeks at college, away from home.
