Job Introduction
We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to join our depot in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. Airpac Rentals is the energy industry division of rental specialist Vp plc, specialising in compressed air and steam generation.
You’ll manage all workshop employees and activities within the workshop ensuring ABOS plant and equipment is maintained, repaired and stored to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Line Manager of all workshop staff
- Manage the maintenance and repair of rental equipment.
- Manage the inspection of returned equipment and that all repair work is carried out.
- Highlighting any recharges due to lost or damaged equipment.
- Control costs against the department budget and at all times and minimise any unnecessary expenditure.
- Ensure individuals are trained and developed effectively to be able to carry out their roles.
- Creating and investigating UERs
- Meet equipment deadlines and delivery dates, and ensure equipment is ready and fit for purpose
- Ensuring all documentation is completed for maintenance, inspection, testing, certification and calibration activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Oil and Gas industry experience essential
- Engineering/technical background
- Understanding of Airpac Rentals equipment types and certification requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering/technical qualification
- Good computer skills, word, excel, database
- Valid driving licence
- Supervisory experience of workshop personnel
