Job Introduction
Repairing anything mechanical or electrical really makes you tick, the more complex and tricky the better! We would love to hear from any like-minded, experienced Technicians to join our busy team.
Our Survey equipment includes lasers and high-end Leica, Trimble and Topcon surveying equipment. ESS are a market leader in the communication rental sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on a real variety of Survey equipment which will include safety, communications and electrical testing items you will be calibrating, servicing and repairing our range in line with the manufacturer guidelines.
- As a more experienced Technician you will be expected to work predominantly on our high end equipment to manufacturer standards.
- Your strong technical skills will be put to great use as we acquire state of the art highly advanced and innovative new products to hire to our customers.
- Conducting peer review work completed by other Technicians and suggest improvements to process that are carried out by other Technicians.
What We’re Looking For
- Traceable Leica, Trimble or Topcon Certification is essential
- You will have undergone OEM training on several items of ESSential and Core equipment to servicing level and can demonstrate a track record in servicing this equipment.
- Able to use third party software to record servicing, consumption of spare parts and can obtain and interpret technical information provided.
- Ability to make accurate assessments of the time required to complete repairs and servicing activities.
