About The Role

Due to growth in our European arm we are looking for a CAD Technician to assist and support the key technical department function in carrying out detailed temporary works designs and quotations for customers. Interlinked in with this is the requirement to be instrumental in producing detailed technical information both for internal and external use in support of the Groundforce product offering. The sucess applicant will be based in our Morley, Leeds office but will produce work for Groundforce Europe as part of their German based Technical Team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support civil engineers in creating detailed design drawings for temporary shoring solutions that are customer-focused and delivered on time
• Develop 2D and 3D design models using AutoCAD, REVIT, and other software
• Perform project-related calculations and provide technical input for specific tasks
• Assist in producing and maintaining technical product literature and operating instructions for the Groundforce portfolio
• Prepare CAD and REVIT drawings of new and existing products, contributing to development and procurement processes
• Collaborate closely with the internal sales team and structural engineers.
• Communicate with customers, planning offices, engineering firms, and test engineers when required
• Contribute to the development of market strategy principles through analytical and creative input

What We’re Looking For

• You will have completed training as a technical draughtsman or have a similar qualification with good technical understanding
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Essential), REVIT (Highly Desirable), and common IT applications
• Professional experience in a comparable role is an advantage
• Confident in using mathematical calculations
• Excellent communication skills
• Accurate, reliable, and precise, even in complex projects
• Committed, flexible, team-oriented, and motivated to develop
• Any knowledge or command of the German language would be an advantage
