Job Introduction
We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our team. This role leads the finance shared service centre team in Harrogate, totalling 8 people.
This pivotal role will provide robust accounting and management information to our Airpac Rentals, UK Forks, Groundforce, Torrent Trackside, and TPA divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and developing the Finance team to ensure a high level of service to the business
- Delivering accurate and timely month end accounts and other financial information to the customers of the SSC
- Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are complete, accurate and timely
- Maintaining effective process controls whilst driving process improvements within the team
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with operational teams and other SSC and group functions
What We’re Looking For
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in a shared Service Centre environment and team management is desirable but not essential
- Experience of accounting processes in a large/high volume organisation is essential
- You must have a positive attitude and wish to take responsibility for the quality of customer service provided by the finance team
- You will have the ability to prioritise workload to ensure both short and long term goals are met
- You should be able to provide clear evidence of working to and meeting deadlines in a pressurised environment.
