Job Introduction
Reporting into the Marketing Manager, our Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting and delivering effective marketing and communications both internally and externally throughout the hire industry. The role will focus on helping increase awareness and revenue from customers in line with agreed targets, via proactive and effective communications online and offline.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager to produce relevant marketing materials
- Support in launching new communication campaigns
- Supporting with copywriting and content creation all within brand guidelines
- Create, coordinate and monitor press and social media releases
- Support development and delivery of the Marketing & Communication plan
- Create effective marketing materials for use in a range of media to meet the needs of the audience including newsletters, video content, leaflets and posters
- Create and coordinate the design of promotional material and distribute in online and offline channels
- Assisting with promotional activities and events
- Discover ways in which value can be added to the marketing material and plans
- To develop content within Photoshop, Illustrator or other relevant software
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience within InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Experience of designing for printed and / or digital material
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships across the range of our stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to analyse data and spot trends
- Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and SEO
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong writing and copy-editing abilities
- A keen interest in marketing and web technologies
- Experience of large volume email campaigns and data management
- Marketing qualifications and/or background - Desirable
