Operations Administrator

Job Introduction

We’re looking for a brand new Operations Administrator to join our fast-paced Head Office in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. This opportunity offers part time working 09:30 to 14:30 Monday-Friday, but the role could be made full time for a suitable candidate.

Airpac Rentals is the energy industry division of rental specialist Vp plc, specialising in compressed air and steam generation. Working in the Operations Team you will assist and support the Operations Manager with the start of hire, through to the finish of hire process for our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer (internal and external) service through the development of relationships and positive communications skills.
  • Foster an environment of good communication between the Workshop, the Hire Desk, our Regional Operations Teams and Clients.
  • Supporting the Hire Desk with effective and efficient use of the G42 system including the use of reports from the system to manage customer orders from start to finish of hire.
  • Supporting the Certification Co-ordinator to compile certification packs for asset mobilisations.
  • You may be required to assist within other areas of the Operations Team, including HSEQ, travel logistics and general administrative duties.

What We’re Looking For

  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Hire equipment products
  • Customer service and administration experience
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage own busy and variable workload
  • Experience of systems support
  • Good IT skills including; MS Packages, word/excel/outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Team player
