Graduate Group Data Analyst

Job Introduction

Reporting to the Group Data Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for learning how to deliver workflows and visualisations to provide a foundation on which the business can make quicker, more informed business decisions. 

Based at our Harrogate head office ( we require you to already live within a 25 miles radius) with the option to work up to 2 days a week from home, you will be working collaboratively with members of the team to gain knowledge and enhance output.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis and Knowledge
Analyse large and complex datasets and present these insights to end users, for enhanced decision making.

Data Visualisation
Learn how to design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau. 
Ensure dashboards are user-friendly and provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
Ensure all dashboards follow a strict peer review, QA and UAT process.

Data Engineering
Learn how to utilize Alteryx for extracting transforming and loading data. Ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all workflows follow a strict peer review, QA and UAT process.

Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and requirements, including explaining complex principles to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.

What We’re Looking For:

  • GCSE's in Maths and English
  • A levels
  • BSc or MSc Degree in a STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering and Maths) subject preferred – 2:1 and above
  • Full Drivers licence valid to drive in the UK  
  • Able to think logically and analytically about a process or dataset.
  • Experience with coding and has used different coding languages previously.
  • Competent in using all Microsoft products including excel, word and powerpoint.
  • Excellent communication skills including having the ability to converse with stakeholders of varying seniority and technical backgrounds.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical skills. Able to spot trends & outliers in complex datasets.
