Supply Chain Manager

Job Introduction

Our Supply Chain Manager will work as part of the procurement team to establish a fully maintained supplier management database. A fundamental part of the role is build relationships with the supply chain to leverage commercial and non-commercial benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of business spend to produce a purchasing forecast
  • Maintain an up to date Supply Chain Management database 
  • Develop a prioritised tendering schedule 
  • Create a tender document including a robust scoring mechanism 
  • Ensure ease of integration for a supplier including on-boarding and marketing opportunities
  • Ensure an up to date purchasing database within the purchasing system by supplier is maintained to ensure spend is directed through the approved channels
  • Ensure product videos and equipment spec sheets are in place for all hired assets 
  • Maintain an accurate rebate tracker 
  • Undertake regular market testing for key product lines to ensure current agreements remain competitive
  • Manage key KPI’s based on the suppliers SLA with regular monitoring and improvement plans place – Minutes should be produced for all meetings 
  • Report key supplier performance data into Senior Management

What We’re Looking For 

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programmes 
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills 
  • Previous experience of supply chain and purchasing management and processes 
  • Previously led and developed a team 
  • Knowledge of supply chain management systems and tendering processes 
  • Knowledge of the tool hire industry – Desirable
