Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with a breadth of expertise and a passion for engaging with people to join our existing Head Office team in Harrogate. Ideal candidates will live in the Leeds, Harrogate or York areas.

This role will offer a superb platform for you to showcase your solid all round recruitment expertise, build relationships within the business and deliver improved job fill rates, becoming recruiting subject matter expert in our organisation.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of vacancies to include the full 360 recruitment life cycle from briefing to offer stage across all Vp businesses
  • Build relationships with wider HR teams and hiring managers, working in partnership with the Vp businesses to understand their current and future recruitment needs
  • Using all necessary tools, platforms and systems to manage candidate applications and fill vacancies effectively (eg. our ATS, Linked In, Indeed)
  • Take a lead on developing and designing innovative recruitment campaigns
  • Become a pivotal part of annual Apprenticeship and Graduate recruitment projects
  • Maintain our PSL by developing meaningful relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Deliver a creative and contemporary approach to job advert writing supporting our candidate attraction strategy
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset, constantly looking for improvement opportunities to deliver a first class recruitment lifecycle experience
               
What We're Looking For

  • Experience of internal recruitment to include candidate talent acquisition essential
  • Ability to handle high volume, high pressure end to end recruitment
  • Proven track record of sourcing the best talent utilising internal ATS system, job boards and networking with experience in social media resourcing
  • Data and delivery oriented with experience of analysing and reporting on performance
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
  • Strong experience of designing and implementing innovative candidate talent attraction processes  
  • Strong understanding of technology with experience using talent acquisition/applicant tracking systems
