Commercial Analyst

Job Introduction

As our Commercial Analyst you will deliver accurate and timely data, dashboards and reports to provide improved visibility of business performance. 

You will liaise with various stakeholders to understand requirements and identify areas to support roles with data, as well as work collaboratively with Group Data and be the dedicated Data Champion for the division.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop reports in line with requirements from business using data from multiple sources
  • Partnering with different business units to identify and exploit opportunities
  • Develop and improve existing functionality with the aim to improve efficiency
  • Complete regular QA & UAT on datasets and reports
  • Working closely with Group Data team and supporting wider group initiatives
  • Automation of existing manual processes and reporting requirements
  • Identify ‘blind-spots’ and develop data based solutions to improve visibility
  • Regularly communicate findings from analysis to the management team
  • Assist when necessary with analysis for the different business initiatives
  • Work with 3rd party systems to extract and manipulate the necessary data
  • Play an active part in the development and on-going improvement of the Commercial Team

What We’re Looking For

  • Keen interest in implementing change, creating new insights and seeing projects through to the end
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel User
  • An interest in data analysis and systems
  • Confident working independently and managing own time effectively
  • Enthusiasm to learn new system / software when required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people across all levels, remotely and in person
  • Willingness to travel to sites when required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • UK Driving Licence
