Job Introduction

We have a great opportunity for the right individual to join our existing team in Glasgow as an Apprentice Hire/Sales Controller.

Hire/Sales Controllers are an integral part of our successful business and the focal point of contact for our customers nationwide. They are responsible for ensuring all aspects of the hire process are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with company policies / procedures / processes and customer requirements.

Working within a friendly and busy customer focussed team the Apprentice will be given every opportunity to learn about the role and the business so they are well placed to develop, and take advantage of the career opportunities we offer across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

To learn all aspects for the Hire Controller role
Gain full understanding of the Hire/Sales transaction process
Be the first line of contact for customers and colleagues, responding to both phone and email queries efficiently

Working closely with the national Sales team to help achieve our business objectives

Building strong working relationships, delivering a great customer experience

Responsible for quality hires and sales ensuring good contract rates

Accountable for the efficiency of hire desk processes

Ensure all administration/reporting is up to date at all times

Developing customer service skills

Administrative tasks 

Completion of in house training
