Job Introduction
Working with our Management Accountant this role involves the preparation of company reports in accordance with company timescales, policies and procedures, whilst ensuring financial controls are complied with. You will also assist with the preparation of divisional management accounts, accounting for accruals, rebates and ad hoc analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Run, analyse and distribute daily and weekly reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with the month end process, ensuring deadlines are met
- Assist with ad hoc tasks including stock and fleet checks and reporting analysis
- This role will work closely with the divisional finance team and the Harrogate based shared service finance team and will interact with many stakeholders (across Airpac and the wider Vp plc organisation) including senior management and our global regional teams
- Use of our in-house accounting system
What We’re Looking For
- Educated to degree level in Finance related discipline
- Enjoys analysing numbers and other business related data
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft office products (Excel, Word) is preferred
- Be studying towards or keen to begin studying for professional accountancy qualification
